Charcoal and acrylic painting of a tree lined road in Drenthe in the North of Holland. Skeletal branches meeting overhead always remind me of the vaulted ceiling of a cathedral.  A single figure on a bike passes under the arch. This is a personal piece about the spiritual nature of a certain place.
