Charcoal and coloured pastel street scene at night. This picture features ‘The Lucky Tree’ Chinese Take Away in New Mills, Derbyshire. In my teens in the late 80’s this was the only chip shop open after the last train home from a night out in Manchester. A welcome bag of chips made the walk home a lot more bearable. The Lucky Tree has remained unchanged to this day. Part of my New Mills art prints collection.
